The developers need to rework the game modes to allow smaller groups to solo play to allow people to play game and progress in the quest and areas or most new player on dead times will not beable to injoy game cause they wont find other to join them for instance battles and will wait hours causing many people to leave and quite. They made end game too hard to find groups for it they needed to revemp the content to allow 1-8 players its just too hard specialyl for a new player to progress when it takes 30 minutes to a hour to find people and it can be very repetive having to do these things every day where it gets longer and longer as time goes on from people coming and going with the game. I myself will continue to play it, happily that I ever got to play KUF2 at all. That being said, the game has so much potential, but It will take a lot of time and resources to get it to a polished state. This game barely made it out of development hell. The story is strong for the first 25% of the game, and slowly begins to trail off. but voiced events occur in less than 1% of event sequences. Voice acting is great (and sometimes done very well with the event sequence). Graphics are bad with washed out textures and lighting (Geforce Ansel helped a lot but support recently dropped). Battles tend to be point A to point B and really dont really call for much in terms of troop strategies. Hero skills are repetitive especially since the skill tree just buffs the skills you already have anyway (your class is not that unique from other players playing the same class). 95% of the story is "small talk" (2 sentences later a quest is activated). Field mode is very boring (kill 5 monsters that stand around all day and come back). like they want to be strong in 3 different directions but dont know how. The issue is the game still feels very experimental. The game litteraly just spawned on the market. My friend and I were shocked as we heard nothing of it through any sort of outlet. in December, i heard word of mouth the game was released for NA. Even a month later there were no announcements on the web. i remember in 2019, still following trails and bits, that from a translated page they shut down the russian servers. I have been a fan of the game since xbox. More information can be found on the Kingdom Under Fire 2 Steam page. This game will require liberal output of expansions, special events, and advertising if it is to survive. This was followed by a Russian release in 2017 which lasted nearly two years before closing shop in March 2019 a few months before the game’s North American launch in November later that year. The console versions, however, never materialized and the Asian servers shut down in April 2017. The game was first announced in 2008 and was initially scheduled to launch on PC and consoles in 2009 but was pushed back multiple times until it finally launched into open beta in South Korea in May 2014. Kingdom Under Fire 2’s development has been a long and arduous road fraught with delays, financial troubles, and shutdowns in several regions even before it launched in North America. We are grateful for the amazing time we could spend together and will always remember it fondly.” We look back on epic mass battles, hordes of enemies and, in particular, a unique community. “Regrettably, we must announce today that the time has come to cease the fighting on the battlefields of Bersia: Gameforge will discontinue the operation of KINGDOM UNDER FIRE 2 on. Players will still be able to use any premium currency they currently have. As of today, the game is no longer available for download and the ability to purchase premium currency has been disabled. MMORPG/RTS hybrid Kingdom Under Fire 2 will be shutting down on October 26 th just a few weeks shy of its 2 nd anniversary.
